The Natural Order:

Suggests that the acquisition of grammatical structures follows a "natural and predictable order." The order is predictable in that "naturally" some grammatical structures tend to be acquired earlier than others. The order is dependent on age, L1 background and literacy level, exposure to the second language, and related conditions that either hinder or promote language learning.
